Relaxing Massage

Relaxing Massage  is like Swedish which is the most well-known and widely practiced type of therapeutic massage in the Western world. Developed in the early 19th century, it owes its origins to physician and physiotherapist, Per Henrik Ling, who developed a system called “Medical Gymnastics” which included a series of movements performed by a therapist.

The five main techniques used in Relaxing/Swedish Massage are stroking and gliding, kneading, rubbing, tapping or pounding and vibration.
